First Year students at Notre Dame who were not pre-approved for Mendoza have two opportunities to apply for transfer into the College of Business. This process is handled entirely by the University's Office of Undergraduate Admissions. All FY students are reminded through the FYS newsletter of the relevant deadlines in the winter (Jan/Feb) and spring (May/June). No transfers into Mendoza will be considered outside of these two application windows and all internal transfers must be accepted into Mendoza prior to the start of their sophomore year. The application process is competitive and the number of openings will be managed to ensure the University achieves its stated goal of 550 BBA degrees per class for Mendoza.
Please see the Admissions website for specific information on the transfer application process.

University Undergraduate Academic Code of Honor
Mendoza Honesty Committee
The purpose of the Mendoza College of Business Honesty Committee is to advise and educate faculty and staff, as well as to investigate and adjudicate potential Honor Code violations brought to their attention. The Procedural Appendix to the Undergraduate Academic Code of Honor allows for the establishment of a single standing Honesty Committee at the College level, chaired by a faculty member, with five additional faculty and six undergraduate students as members of the Committee. The charge of this committee includes advising and educating faculty, staff, and students within the College, encouraging discussion on academic integrity, and to make sure any honesty hearings are conducted in a timely fashion. One of the faculty members will be designated as the Advisory Resource Person, who does not sit on any hearings, but is available to talk to accused students about the process. That person should not go so far as evaluating the student's arguments or recommending a particular course of action.

Students who would like to transfer a course from another university must receive pre-approval from the appropriate academic department before doing so. A maximum of two courses (up to eight credits) may be taken at another school each summer. A grade of C or better must be earned in order to receive transfer credit for the course. The transfer course pre-approval form is available on the eForm link on your Student Academic Tab on insideND Students are responsible for obtaining all necessary approvals prior to leaving for the summer. Please note that all business courses must be taken at Notre Dame. It is also important to note that only the credits will transfer. The grade earned in a summer course does not get factored into your Notre Dame GPA. A new Registrar's Office Transfer Credit Search website is also available for reference.
