Gina Shropshire returned to her Alma Mater in the fall of 1998 after earning an MA in French Literature and a Ph.D. in Education from Purdue University. During her tenure in the Mendoza College of Business, Gina has divided her time between her academic advising duties and her commitment to working on diversity issues within the college and within the University at large. 

In this latter capacity, Dr. Shropshire sits on many alumni and university-wide committees and coordinates special programs in the college aimed at providing both support for students of color and a forum where all students can be challenged to become agents of change. Gina also taught as an instructor for the Moreau First Year Experience seminar.

Gina is integral in coordinating the study abroad plans for many Mendoza students. Her coordination with the International Study Office ensures that Mendoza students have successful experiences.
