Working with students has always been Jessica's greatest adventure, and she's delighted to be back in a role where that is her main responsibility. Prior to joining the Office of Undergraduate Studies, Jessica was in the Office of Human Resources as one of the askHR members for two years. Jessica enjoyed assisting staff members with all their complex HR questions. In her first job at Notre Dame, she assisted incoming students in the Office of Financial Aid as one of the Financial Aid Associates. Working with prospective families was very exciting during her year there. Jessica recently graduated (May 2024) with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Human Resource Management from Western Governors University.

Originally from Mexico, Jessica grew up mostly in Plymouth, IN (home of the famous Blueberry Festival!). When she is not working, Jessica is busy making memories with her husband Matt, teen son Brian, and toddler "Princesa" Naomi. In Jessica's free time, she enjoys spending time with her family fishing, walking, gardening/adding more houseplants to her collection, and Latin dancing. Jessica has a love for animals. Her menagerie includes her giant Maincoon cat named Kovu and a tailless cat named Zelda.
