CPT Visa Information

Information for Undergraduate Students in the Mendoza College of Business

Undergraduate students in the Mendoza College of Business are allowed to use the CPT work authorization three times with BAUG 37000 (1 credit) as the corresponding course.

Students must comply with all requirements from the Office of International Student and Scholar Affairs (ISSA) concerning the CPT Visa: https://issa.nd.edu/students/f-1-students/f-1-employment/curricular-practical-training/

In addition to the ISSA requirements for the CPT, students must complete the Internship Application for Academic Credit.

Students will receive an email when their application is submitted. An override will be provided for the student to enroll in the internship course, BAUG 37000, within one week of our review.

BAUG 37000 is a graded course (S/U) and requires that students submit a Journal Entry and a Final Reflection Paper. Additional information and instructions, as well as the application form, are available at: https://mendozaugrad.nd.edu/advising/internship-credit/
